vivo is expanding its V80 smartphone beyond India, announcing plans to bring the device to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and “other regions.” The company says availability, pricing and specifications will vary by market, reflecting local conditions and consumer preferences.

The global V80 will be available in four colors: Starwish Purple, Wander Green, Sunrise Anthem and Vast Gray. vivo has not provided a single worldwide price or a unified launch configuration for all regions.

vivo V80 display and camera specifications

The V80 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1260x2750 resolution. Its 144Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and animations, while the panel can reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports optical stabilization and 3x optical zoom. An 8MP ultrawide camera completes the rear setup, while a 50MP camera sits on the front for selfies.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 7,200mAh battery

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 powers the V80. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage. The 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the two larger capacities use the newer UFS 4.1 standard.

A 7,200mAh battery gives the V80 one of its most notable hardware features. The battery supports 90W wired charging, although actual charging options and specifications may differ across markets under vivo’s regional approach.

Android 17 and long-term software support

The V80 runs Android 17 with vivo’s OriginOS 7 software overlay. vivo says it will provide four major Android updates and six years of security updates for the handset.

That support policy could make the V80 a more durable choice for buyers who plan to keep their phone for several years. However, customers will need to check local listings for the exact configuration, pricing and software terms available in their country.
