The international version of Xiaomi's 18 Pro Max has appeared in the Geekbench AI results database, providing an early look at its chipset and memory configuration. The tested device carries model number 2611FPNFAG and pairs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 with 12GB of RAM.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will launch outside China. With the Xiaomi 18 Ultra reportedly canceled, the Pro Max is expected to serve as the company's top smartphone for the 2027 lineup.

Global Xiaomi 18 Pro Max specifications

The Geekbench AI listing identifies the processor used by the global model as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, matching the chipset in the Chinese version. The benchmarked prototype includes 12GB of RAM, although that may not represent the full memory range planned for international markets.

In China, Xiaomi also sells the 18 Pro Max with 16GB of RAM. The company has not indicated whether that higher-memory option will be available globally, so the benchmark result confirms only the configuration of the tested unit.

The Chinese model is available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage. The source information does not confirm which storage capacities Xiaomi will bring to international markets.

Battery capacity remains uncertain

Battery specifications could also differ between the Chinese and global versions, particularly for models sold in the European Union. The Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro has a 7,000mAh battery, while the 18 Pro Max uses an 8,500mAh cell.

It remains unclear whether those capacities will be retained internationally. Regional requirements and market-specific changes have sometimes resulted in different specifications, making the final battery details an important part of the global launch announcement.

Expected display and camera hardware

The Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with a 1208 by 2624 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It also has a 2.9-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with a 596 by 976 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and the same stated peak brightness.

Its camera system includes a 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with stabilization and 3.2x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

Android 17 and HyperOS 4 expected

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and 18 Pro are expected to ship internationally with Android 17 and Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 software. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the final global specifications, pricing or launch timing in the available information.

The benchmark appearance therefore offers an early hardware snapshot rather than a complete launch profile. Xiaomi's eventual announcement should clarify whether the 16GB memory option, Chinese battery capacities and full storage range will carry over to international markets.
