The vivo X500E has taken another step toward launch after appearing in the Bluetooth SIG certification database. The listing identifies the phone by model number V2656, but the certification authority does not disclose any other details about the upcoming device.

vivo unveiled the X300 E in July, and the X500E is expected to follow as its successor within the next few months. Bluetooth certification does not confirm a release date, but it indicates that the phone has cleared one of the regulatory steps typically associated with bringing a wireless device to market.

What the Bluetooth SIG listing reveals

The Bluetooth SIG entry confirms the vivo X500E name and its V2656 model designation. It does not provide information about the handset's processor, display, cameras, battery, software or markets where it will be sold.

That limited disclosure is common for certification listings. As a result, the phone's specifications remain unconfirmed until vivo announces the device or additional reliable information becomes available.

Rumored vivo X500E specifications

Rumors currently point to a Dimensity 9500 chipset for the X500E. The phone is also said to feature a 6.59-inch display, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The same reports claim the device could include a 7,500mAh battery. If accurate, that would make battery capacity one of the most notable parts of the rumored specification sheet. However, none of these details has been confirmed by vivo or the Bluetooth SIG listing.

Where the phone fits in vivo's lineup

The X500E is expected to join vivo's X500 family, which currently includes the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. Those three models were unveiled last month, establishing the broader series before the rumored E variant arrives.

The X500E would also follow the X300 E, giving vivo another E-branded model positioned within its X-series range. The company has not yet announced pricing, availability or a launch event for the new phone.

For now, the Bluetooth SIG appearance is best treated as an early indication that development is progressing rather than a confirmation of the rumored hardware. More definitive information should emerge when vivo officially introduces the X500E.
