Oppo’s next book-style foldable, the Find N7, is reportedly being tested with a 200MP main camera, a 7.6-inch folding display and a 2nm chipset. The device is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027, potentially following the Find N6’s reported March release timing.
Oppo has not announced the Find N7 or confirmed any of these specifications. The information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared details about an engineering sample. As a result, the specifications and design should be treated as unconfirmed.
Rumored Find N7 display and design
The engineering sample is said to use a Samsung display and feature a seamless hinge solution. The folding panel is reportedly 7.6 inches, although the size of the outer screen has not been confirmed in the latest leak.
Previous reports have pointed to a wider design for the Find N7. Those claims suggested a 5.5-inch cover display paired with a 7.6-inch internal screen, a layout that would differ from the Find N6. The Find N6 was reported to use a 6.62-inch external display and an 8.12-inch folding panel.
The conflicting screen dimensions suggest that Oppo may still be evaluating different designs, or that the leaked specifications refer to different development stages. The reported seamless hinge could also indicate a focus on reducing the visible crease or improving how the two halves meet, though the leak does not provide further details.
200MP quad-camera system with Hasselblad tuning
Photography is expected to be a major part of the Find N7’s specification list. Digital Chat Station reportedly identified four rear cameras: a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a 3MP multispectral unit.
The camera system is also said to receive Hasselblad tuning. If the configuration reaches the final product, the periscope camera would give the foldable a dedicated long-range imaging component, while the multispectral sensor could support additional color or scene data. The leak does not state the zoom range, sensor sizes or other camera capabilities.
2nm processor and larger battery
The Find N7 is reportedly being developed around a 2nm chipset. No processor name has been provided, and Oppo has not confirmed which chip will power the phone.
A separate rumor points to a 6,500mAh battery. That would represent a 500mAh increase over the reported battery capacity of the Find N6, potentially giving the newer foldable more power for its large internal screen. Charging details remain unknown.
With a possible launch window in early 2027, Oppo has plenty of time to change the Find N7’s hardware before release. Until the company provides official information, the leaked camera, display, chipset and battery details remain subject to revision.
