The vivo X500 has surfaced in a new video ahead of its official reveal, giving an early look at the design of the standard model in the upcoming series. vivo has confirmed the X500 lineup will launch on September 21, and the freshly circulated footage arrives just days before that debut.

The clip puts the design front and center, showing a circular camera island positioned on the left side of a larger rectangular plateau on the back of the phone. That layout mirrors a wider trend among Chinese manufacturers adopting a raised camera plateau, a look popularized by recent Apple designs.

According to the leaked details, the vanilla X500 will be offered in black, gray, and pink finishes, alongside a gradient colorway.

On the imaging side, the X500 is expected to carry a 50MP main camera built around Sony's Lytia 828 sensor, a 1/1.28-inch type unit. It reportedly pairs that with a 64MP telephoto camera using Sony's Lytia 610, which supports a 200mm teleconverter for extended reach.
