Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 9 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series, arriving less than two weeks after the first beta and adding several standout features borrowed from the company's newer Galaxy S26 flagships and Galaxy Z8 foldables.

The update was spotted by tipster Tarun Vats. Galaxy S24 owners enrolled in the beta program can look for a firmware build ending in "ZZI4" to confirm they are on the latest version.

  • Custom Now Brief cards — Users can now build their own Now Brief cards by telling the on-device AI what information they want displayed, rather than relying only on preset cards.
