Samsung has confirmed that its newest Fan Edition handset, the Galaxy S26 FE, is now available in India following the phone's global debut last month. According to Samsung, the device carries a price of INR 79,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB configuration, with sales beginning on September 18.

The Galaxy S26 FE launches in India in three finishes: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. Buyers can pick it up from September 18 in the single memory variant offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The FE series traditionally sits below Samsung's mainline flagships, aiming to deliver several premium features at a more accessible price. This launch continues that positioning while adding one of Samsung's most notable software commitments.

The phone is powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 2500 chipset and features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The screen runs at Full-HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and peaks at up to 1,900 nits of brightness.

On the back, Samsung has fitted a triple camera system built around a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization. It is joined by a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and OIS. A 12MP front camera handles selfies.

The Galaxy S26 FE ships with Android 17-based One UI 9 out of the box. Samsung says the phone will receive seven years of operating system and security updates, matching the long-term software support offered on its higher-end models. That commitment is a meaningful selling point for buyers looking to keep a device for several years.

For international context, Samsung lists the phone at $699.99 and £699.00 for the 128GB/8GB version, and $799.99 and £799.00 for the 256GB/8GB variant in other markets.
