The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE's India pricing has surfaced online ahead of the phone's local launch, with a leak claiming the handset will start at INR 69,999. Samsung has not confirmed the figure, as sales in the country are only scheduled to begin on September 18.

What the leak says about pricing

According to the leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the base Galaxy S26 FE with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will carry a price of INR 69,999. A step-up configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is said to cost INR 79,999.

The phone is also offered globally with a 512GB storage tier, but that variant reportedly won't be part of India's initial lineup. For reference, the Galaxy S26 FE launched in select markets on September 4 priced at €699 for the 128GB model and €799 for the 256GB version.

Why the delay in India

India was not included in the first wave of the rollout. Samsung has scheduled sales to begin locally on September 18, which likely explains why the company held back official Indian pricing when the device was unveiled. The leaked figures give buyers an early sense of what to expect, though they should be treated as unconfirmed until Samsung makes an announcement.

Galaxy S26 FE key specifications

The Galaxy S26 FE is built around a 6.7-inch 1080p Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Samsung's Exynos 2500 chipset and packs a 4,900 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

On the back, the phone uses a triple camera system led by a 50MP main sensor. It ships with Android 17-based One UI 9 out of the box, placing it among the earlier devices to run Samsung's latest software layer.

If the leaked pricing holds, the Galaxy S26 FE would slot into Samsung's upper mid-range tier in India, competing with other premium mid-tier handsets that offer flagship-adjacent features at a lower cost. Confirmation is expected around the September 18 launch.
