A new leak suggests Realme is testing a high-performance smartphone with a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8,700mAh battery. The details conflict with an earlier report that linked the device to a triple-50MP camera system, so the phone’s final specifications remain unclear.
The latest information comes from tipster Gadgetsdata, who says the Realme device will use a 200MP primary camera paired with a 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom. The report specifically rules out a triple-50MP arrangement and claims the phone will not include an ultrawide camera.
Camera setup remains uncertain
The reported camera configuration resembles recent leaks surrounding the OnePlus Ace 7, which has also been associated with a 200MP main sensor and a 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. The Realme phone’s camera module is also said to look similar to the design used on the Realme 16 Pro+.
However, an earlier leak claimed that the OnePlus 16R was being tested with three 50MP rear cameras, with a Realme-branded phone using the same hardware. The conflicting claims could indicate that multiple devices are being confused, or that testing hardware has changed. There is currently no confirmation from Realme or OnePlus identifying the phone.
Reported gaming-focused hardware
Beyond the cameras, the leaked specifications point to a device aimed at gaming and sustained performance. It is reportedly built with a metal frame and a flat glass rear panel, while a built-in cooling fan would help manage heat during demanding workloads.
The phone is also said to feature a circular RGB light on the rear. The component would be similar in concept to the ring-style lighting used alongside the flash on some vivo phones, although its exact function is not known.
High-refresh-rate display and large battery
On the front, the phone reportedly has a flat 1.5K OLED display. The panel could reach 185Hz in some games, while the system interface would run at up to 165Hz. According to the leak, a Snapdragon 8-series chipset would power the device.
The claimed gaming performance includes BGMI at 120 frames per second and Call of Duty at 165 frames per second. These figures are unverified and may depend on software support, game settings and thermal conditions.
The battery is said to have a typical capacity of 8,700mAh, which would give the phone a substantial power reserve if the specification reaches a commercial model. The tipster says the device could launch as a Realme phone or as the OnePlus 16R in India. Because both brands belong to the same Oppo group, shared hardware is possible, but the product identity and launch plans have not been confirmed.
