The Oppo Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max have received an early unboxing and hands-on look ahead of their global launch on October 21. The two phones were introduced in China in late September, although their international specifications may not be identical to the Chinese versions.
In particular, the battery capacities could be reduced on global models, with Europe-bound versions mentioned as a possible example. Oppo has not confirmed those changes in the information available here, so the Chinese models remain the starting point for understanding the series.
Find X10 Pro Max and Find X10 design
The Find X10 Pro Max is the larger phone, mainly because it uses a bigger display. The difference is not extreme, however, and the standard Find X10 is not a particularly small handset.
Both models use a camera-focused rear design with a large, square camera island. The flash sits outside that main section on a separate raised area, giving the back of each phone a distinctive multi-part layout.
The Find X10 Pro Max shown in the hands-on arrives in white, with silver accents on its metal components. Its rear panel has a restrained dual-tone finish rather than a strongly contrasting pattern.
The Find X10 has a titanium color option with a more understated appearance. Although it can look grey, the finish takes on a light purple tint under some lighting conditions, making it less plain than the name might suggest.
Build and in-hand feel
Both phones combine glass and metal in a substantial design. Their weight and thickness make the battery hardware inside noticeable when holding them, but the handsets do not feel excessively bulky.
The difference in size between the two devices is therefore more nuanced than the Pro Max name might imply. The standard model remains a sizeable phone, while the larger version adds display area without creating an entirely different form factor.
What comes in the box
The Find X10 Pro Max package includes an 80W charger, a USB-A to USB-C cable and a soft rubber case matched to the phone's color. The case is designed to fit the handset closely.
The Find X10 includes the same accessory set. Its 80W charger uses a Type-F plug, while the Pro Max unit shown in the unboxing includes a different plug configuration.
More information should emerge when the Find X10 series reaches global markets on October 21. Until then, buyers should treat the Chinese specifications as provisional for international versions, particularly where battery capacity is concerned.
