Apple has launched its latest Mac mini and Mac Studio models in 30 countries and regions, including the United States. Customers can order standard configurations online and collect them the same day from many Apple Store locations, subject to local availability.
The new desktop lineup includes the Mac mini with M6 and M5 Pro chips, along with the Mac Studio powered by M5 Max and M5 Ultra. Apple has also made its Apple Upgrade leasing option available to eligible customers in the US.
How Apple Store pickup works
To check whether a Mac is available for pickup, customers can add the selected model to their bag on Apple’s website and continue to checkout. The “I’ll pick it up” option allows shoppers to enter a ZIP code, choose an Apple Store, and select an available pickup date.
Payment is completed online. Apple may require a valid government-issued photo ID and the order number when the customer collects the purchase.
Same-day pickup does not apply to custom Mac configurations ordered with upgraded specifications through Apple’s online store. Buyers seeking additional memory, storage, or other configuration changes may need to choose delivery instead.
Mac mini and Mac Studio prices
The Mac mini with the M6 chip starts at $899, while eligible education customers can purchase it for $799. The Mac mini with the M5 Pro starts at $1,699, or $1,599 for education customers.
Mac Studio pricing starts at $2,499 for the M5 Max model and $5,499 for the M5 Ultra version. Education pricing reduces those starting prices to $2,299 and $5,099, respectively.
Apple Upgrade leasing option
Eligible customers in the US can also use Apple Upgrade to lease a new Mac through monthly payments. The program allows customers to upgrade at the end of the lease, subject to Apple’s eligibility and program terms.
For shoppers who want a new desktop immediately, store pickup offers a faster alternative to standard shipping. Availability varies by location, and the option is limited to eligible, non-custom configurations.
