iQOO has officially introduced the Pad Ultra, a compact gaming-focused tablet built around a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and an active cooling fan. The tablet also includes iQOO’s Q4 gaming chip and a dedicated Wi-Fi enhancement chip.

The iQOO Pad Ultra has an 8.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 2304x1440 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Its 165Hz refresh rate is designed for smoother motion in games and other fast-moving content. The screen reaches a claimed peak local brightness of 4,500 nits, while peak full-screen brightness is rated at 1,600 nits.

Gaming hardware and cooling

Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, iQOO has added its self-developed Q4 gaming chip to the Pad Ultra. The tablet also uses an active cooling fan, giving the device a dedicated cooling system in addition to its internal hardware.

Other gaming-oriented features include two X-axis linear vibration motors and RGB lighting on the rear. The tablet has symmetrical dual speakers and a metal unibody design. It will be offered in silver and black finishes.

Battery, cameras and software

The Pad Ultra is equipped with a 9,020mAh battery and supports 66W wired charging. It runs Android 17 with iQOO’s OriginOS 7 software interface.

Camera hardware is relatively simple compared with the tablet’s performance specifications. A 13-megapixel camera is positioned on the rear, while an 8-megapixel camera handles the front-facing camera duties.

iQOO Pad Ultra price and storage options

The entry-level configuration has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is priced at CNY 5,999, or approximately $890, during the introductory period through October 6. After that date, the price rises to CNY 6,499, or about $964.
