iQOO has revealed the Pad Ultra, an 8.8-inch gaming-focused tablet that will launch in China on September 29 alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone. The company’s official images show a compact device in silver and black, along with accessories designed for gaming.
iQOO has not yet disclosed the tablet’s full specifications or confirmed whether it will be sold outside China. For now, the Pad Ultra’s screen size, weight and gaming accessories are the main details available.
iQOO Pad Ultra features an 8.8-inch display
The Pad Ultra will have an 8.8-inch screen and weigh 298 grams. That weight gives the tablet a relatively portable profile, although iQOO has not provided its dimensions or explained how the display is positioned for gaming use.
Official images show the tablet with a simple design and two color options: silver and black. The company is expected to reveal additional specifications in the days leading up to its launch, but it has not yet detailed the processor, storage, battery, cameras or software.
Dedicated accessories target tablet gaming
iQOO is also preparing two gaming accessories for the Pad Ultra. One is a dual-sided gamepad, while the other is a protective case equipped with clip-on handles.
Both accessories are being promoted with an e-sports focus. The controls could make the tablet easier to use for games that benefit from physical inputs, while the case’s handles are intended to provide a more console-like grip. iQOO has not specified whether the accessories will be bundled with the tablet or sold separately.
China launch is confirmed, global availability is unclear
The Pad Ultra will arrive in China on September 29 at the same event as the iQOO 16. The shared launch places the tablet within iQOO’s broader gaming-oriented product lineup, but the company has not announced an international release.
That leaves availability as one of the key unanswered questions for buyers elsewhere. iQOO’s upcoming announcements should clarify the tablet’s complete hardware specifications, pricing and accessory details, as well as whether the Pad Ultra will reach markets beyond China.
