Infinix has launched the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, a pair of mobile gaming accessories designed to deliver more precise controls and a broader desktop-style setup. The controller targets touchscreen-based FPS games, while the dock combines cooling, display output and a wide range of ports.
GT NX Controller targets precise mobile FPS controls
Infinix says the GT NX Controller is the first mobile gaming controller to feature a “Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad.” The company claims the touchpad can reproduce the nuanced precision of touchscreen operation and provide mouse-like accuracy in mobile first-person shooters.
The controller uses what Infinix describes as an esports-grade, three-chip low-latency architecture. Two chips are positioned in the left handle and one in the right, with the company saying the arrangement keeps inputs responsive and consistent. It also supports millisecond-level Direct Connect connectivity.
Battery life is rated at up to 22 hours. Infinix says players can adjust haptic feedback across three intensity levels through XArena, with the experience designed to resemble handheld-console feedback. The controller also uses an ergonomic anti-slip design intended to improve comfort during longer sessions.
The GT NX Controller can be used in several configurations, including with a phone clamp, a desktop clamp or in portable single-hand mode. These options let players use it with a phone mounted directly to the controller or in a more stationary gaming arrangement.
GT NX Station adds cooling and external-display support
The GT NX Station is a 9-in-1 expansion dock built for mobile gaming setups. Its built-in TEC cooling system is designed to help prevent thermal throttling caused by overheating during demanding play.
Infinix says the station supports Universal Extend or Mirror on any compatible screen. That allows a connected device to extend its display or mirror it to an external monitor, depending on the supported setup.
Ports and features on the GT NX Station
The dock includes Dynamic RGB lighting and a broad selection of connectivity options. Its ports and slots include:
- HDMI
- RJ45 Ethernet
- Two USB-A ports
- Two USB-C ports, including one with power-delivery input
- A USB-C host cable
- A microSD card slot
- A 3.5mm audio jack
Together, the controller and dock are aimed at players who want more control flexibility and a console-like gaming environment from a mobile device. Infinix has not provided pricing or availability details in the announcement.
