Beats has teased a new collaboration with Pokémon that appears to involve a Pikachu-themed version of the Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker. The company has not yet announced a release date or provided full product details.

The teaser is titled “Time to catch something new” and shows a Beats Pill alongside Beats and Poké Ball icons. While the video does not explicitly identify the product as a Pikachu edition, its imagery aligns with photos of an alleged Pikachu-themed Beats Pill package that surfaced earlier this month.

What the Pokémon Beats Pill teaser shows

The short video presents the Beats Pill speaker and Pokémon branding together, pointing to a branded hardware collaboration rather than a software feature or promotional campaign alone. Beats has not confirmed the speaker’s color scheme, design changes, price, or markets where it will be sold.

Photos shared by Pokémon content creator BritBratTV reportedly show a box for a Pikachu-themed Beats Pill at U.S. retailer Target. Those images provide the clearest indication of what Beats may be preparing, but the company’s teaser stops short of confirming the packaging or the product’s final specifications.

Beats Pill price and availability

Apple brought the Beats Pill back in 2024 after discontinuing the previous version in 2022. In the United States, the standard speaker regularly sells for $149.99.

It is not clear whether the Pokémon edition will use the same price or whether it will be offered through Target and other retailers. Beats has also not said whether the special edition will be available outside the United States.

Apple and Pokémon collaboration

The teaser follows a Pokémon appearance at Apple Park in August, adding to the connection between the companies. However, neither Beats nor Apple has disclosed whether the new speaker will be part of a broader product launch or a limited release.

For now, the video confirms only that Beats and Pokémon are working together on something new. A formal announcement should clarify the speaker’s design, price, release date, and availability.
