Apple could have another major product push planned for October 2026, following a September that included new iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, and Beats products. The company has not confirmed an October event, but several rumored devices are expected to arrive before the end of the year.
At least some of those products could be introduced during a dedicated event, while others may appear through press releases. Apple has used both approaches in recent years, with October launches ranging from major Mac events to individual iPad announcements.
Why an October Apple event is possible
Apple has held product events or announced new hardware in October during each of the past five years. The company hosted the “Unleashed” event in 2021 and the “Scary Fast” Mac event in 2023. In 2024, Apple used press releases for the iPad mini and later announced updated Macs across several days.
In 2025, Apple introduced the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro with the M5 chip through October press releases. While Apple sometimes waits until November or December to launch products, that timing is less common.
Seven Apple products reportedly coming
- iPad mini: The next model could receive an A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, an OLED display, a redesigned speaker system, and improved water resistance.
- 24-inch iMac: Apple may update the desktop with an M6 chip and additional color choices.
- 14-inch MacBook Pro: A new entry-level model with an M6 chip is reportedly in development.
- 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro: Higher-end models could receive a substantial redesign, including OLED displays, touch support, a Dynamic Island, and a thinner enclosure. These models are expected to use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
- Apple TV: A revised Apple TV could include an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB of RAM, Siri AI support, an Apple-designed N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7, and an updated Siri Remote. The exterior is expected to remain similar to the current model.
- HomePod mini: A new chip could support Siri AI, while other rumored upgrades include improved sound, Wi-Fi 7, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, and new colors.
- Home Hub: Apple is reportedly developing a dedicated smart home device with a 6- to 7-inch square display, an A18 chip or newer, FaceTime support, and a new operating system with clock faces and widgets.
Apple’s smart home plans could expand
The rumored Home Hub would reportedly come in tabletop and wall-mounted versions. The tabletop model could include a speaker base, positioning the device between a smart display and a connected home controller.
Neither an October event nor the individual product launches are confirmed. Apple could also spread the announcements across events and press releases, as it has done in previous years.
