Xiaomi has confirmed that its new Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch globally in 2026, less than a day after the company introduced the phones in China. The announcement appears to cover both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, although Xiaomi has not yet provided specific launch dates or a market-by-market availability list.
Xu Fei, Xiaomi’s chief marketing officer, referred to the “Xiaomi 18 Pro series” in a video shared on X and said the lineup was going global this year. The message also teased “more surprises,” without explaining what those additions might be.
Will both Xiaomi 18 Pro phones launch internationally?
Xu Fei’s wording strongly suggests that both models are being prepared for markets outside China. However, a separate post from the Xiaomi India account mentions only the Xiaomi 18 Pro. That leaves open the possibility that the larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could skip India, even if it reaches other international markets.
Xiaomi has not confirmed that limitation, so the Indian lineup remains unclear. More details are expected as the company approaches its global launch plans.

The Max model uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and has an 8,500mAh battery, making it the more substantial option in the series. Xiaomi has not provided global pricing, final regional configurations or launch dates for either phone.
