vivo will introduce its X500 series in Europe on October 27, just after launching the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max in China. European pre-orders will open on the same day as the launch event, while general sales are scheduled to begin on November 5.
There is still some uncertainty around which models will be available. vivo’s European page refers to the “X500 series”, but currently highlights only the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The standard X500 is not shown, so it is not yet clear whether that phone will be sold in Europe or simply receive less promotional attention.
European launch and release dates
The October 27 event will mark the European debut of the series and the start of pre-orders. Customers will then be able to purchase the devices from November 5, according to vivo’s European announcement.
The company has not clarified in the available announcement whether all three phones will share the same European launch schedule. That leaves the standard X500’s status as the main unanswered question ahead of the event.
Early-registration discount
vivo is also offering an incentive to people who register their interest through its European website. Eligible customers can receive a voucher worth up to €120 off the devices, along with access to curated bundles and exclusive accessory deals.
The voucher is available until November 30, while supplies last. However, people who register after the phones go on sale on November 5 will receive a smaller €80 discount instead. Registering before the release date is therefore required for the maximum advertised saving.
What remains unclear
vivo has not provided enough information to confirm whether the regular X500 will launch alongside the Pro models in Europe. Its omission from the European product page could indicate a regional model difference, or it could simply reflect a marketing focus on the higher-end versions.
More details about model availability, pricing and the exact contents of the advertised bundles may emerge before October 27. Until then, buyers interested in the standard X500 should treat its European availability as unconfirmed.
