vivo has announced the X Fold6 for global markets, bringing its latest foldable smartphone outside China three months after its domestic release. The international model combines two 120Hz LTPO AMOLED displays with a 200MP main camera, a 6,900mAh battery and software designed for multitasking across apps and devices.

Two bright 120Hz foldable displays

The X Fold6 has an 8.02-inch inner display with a 2312x2504 resolution, while its 6.51-inch cover display uses a 1120x2528 resolution. Both panels are LTPO AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and a stated peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset powers the phone. vivo will offer configurations with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, alongside 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.

200MP camera and 6,900mAh battery

The rear camera system is led by a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization. It is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with stabilization and 3x optical zoom, plus a 50MP ultrawide camera.

For selfies and video calls, the foldable includes 20MP cameras on both the inner and cover displays. Its 6,900mAh battery supports 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The device also carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.

OriginOS 7 Fold focuses on multitasking

The international X Fold6 runs OriginOS 7 Fold, based on Android 17. Its Multi-Task Workbench includes Origin Workbench, which places one primary window alongside four auxiliary windows, and Multi-Split Screen, which allows up to four resizable windows to sit side by side.

Another feature, AI Cross-App Drag, lets users move content between applications. vivo also includes AI File Manager for organizing files and AI Reader Mode, which reformats complex PDFs into cleaner eBook-style layouts for extended reading.

AI meeting tools and desktop mode

For meetings, AI Recorder can capture in-person discussions, while AI Captions provides real-time subtitles during online meetings and video calls. The phone also includes Jovi, vivo’s intelligent AI agent. According to vivo, Jovi can search and understand materials, generate content and complete office workflows through voice commands. It also supports recurring tasks.

When connected to a monitor or TV, vivo Office Kit enables Desktop Mode, turning the foldable into what vivo describes as a desktop-like workspace. The company has announced the global model, but the supplied announcement does not specify regional pricing or individual market availability.
