The vivo X Fold6 could be headed for international markets in early October. According to a tipster, vivo is preparing to launch its latest foldable globally on October 1, followed by an India release on October 6.

vivo has not confirmed either date, so the schedule should be treated as unverified for now. The reported timing would put the international launch roughly four months after the phone debuted in China in June.

Reported vivo X Fold6 launch dates

The global launch is tipped for October 1, while the India launch is reportedly planned for October 6. The dates were shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav in a post on X.

Neither the global availability details nor pricing have been confirmed by vivo. The company’s official announcement will be needed to verify the launch schedule and clarify which markets will receive the device.

Expected India configurations and colours

For India, the vivo X Fold6 is said to arrive in two storage configurations: 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage.

The foldable is also tipped to be offered in Nebula Teal and Prism Black. These details remain part of the leak until vivo publishes its local product and availability information.

vivo X Fold6 specifications from China

The Chinese version of the vivo X Fold6 has an 8.02-inch folding AMOLED display and a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover screen. That setup allows the phone to function as a tablet-sized device when unfolded while retaining a conventional smartphone display when closed.

Photography is handled by a triple rear-camera system led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The device also includes a 7,000mAh battery, which is paired with support for 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

If the reported schedule is accurate, prospective buyers outside China may not have to wait long to learn how vivo will position the X Fold6 in international markets. Pricing, regional specifications and sales availability are still unknown.
