The vivo V80’s alleged Indian pricing and specifications have surfaced less than a week before the phone is scheduled to launch in the country. According to a post by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the smartphone will start at INR 63,000 for 128GB of storage, while higher-capacity versions could cost up to INR 80,000.
vivo is set to launch the V80 in India on October 6. The leaked details have not been confirmed by the company, so the final prices and specifications may differ.
vivo V80 pricing in India
The reported pricing is divided across three storage configurations:
- 128GB: INR 63,000, listed as approximately $657
- 256GB: INR 70,000, listed as approximately $730
- 512GB: INR 80,000, listed as approximately $834
If accurate, the V80 will target the upper mid-range to premium segment in India, with the larger storage variants carrying a significant price increase over the entry model.
Leaked vivo V80 specifications
The V80 is said to use a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The faster refresh rate could make scrolling and supported games appear smoother, while the OLED panel should provide the contrast associated with the technology.
Powering the phone is reportedly Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The leak also claims the device will use UFS 4.1 storage, although it does not specify whether all three configurations will offer the same storage technology.
Triple 50MP camera system
The reported rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. The telephoto lens is said to support 3x optical zoom and include OIS. A 50MP camera is also expected on the front for selfies and video calls.
This configuration would give the V80 a higher-resolution telephoto camera than its ultrawide unit, with stabilisation on both the main and zoom cameras according to the leak.
Large battery and Android 17
Battery capacity is another notable part of the reported specification sheet. The V80 allegedly packs a 7,200mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging.
The phone is also said to have a metal frame, stereo speakers, an IR blaster and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display. Its claimed IP68 and IP69 ratings would provide dust and water resistance, though the exact conditions covered by those ratings will need to be confirmed by vivo.
On the software side, the leak lists Android 17 with vivo’s OriginOS 7 interface. vivo should provide the official pricing, availability details and final specifications when it introduces the V80 in India on October 6.
