vivo has started selling the V80 and X Fold6 in India, one week after launching both smartphones in the country. The devices are available through vivo’s Indian website, Amazon.in, Flipkart and partner retail stores.

The vivo V80 starts at INR62,999, while the foldable vivo X Fold6 is available in a single configuration priced at INR219,999. Both phones use Android 17-based software, although the foldable runs a version adapted for larger displays.

vivo V80 price and availability

The vivo V80 is available in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black. Buyers can choose from three storage configurations, all with 8GB of memory:

  • 8GB/128GB: INR62,999
  • 8GB/256GB: INR69,999
  • 8GB/512GB: INR79,999

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. Its display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Photography is handled by three 50MP cameras tuned with ZEISS. The V80 also includes a 7,200mAh battery, giving it one of the larger battery capacities among the smartphones covered in this launch.

vivo X Fold6 price and specifications

The vivo X Fold6 comes in Nebula Teal and Prism Black. India gets one memory and storage combination: 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, priced at INR219,999.

The foldable uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset and runs OriginOS 7 Fold, also based on Android 17. It has a 6.51-inch 120Hz LTPO 8T AMOLED cover display and an 8.02-inch 120Hz LTPO 8T AMOLED folding screen.

vivo says the X Fold6 has the largest battery among foldable phones in India, with a 6,900mAh cell. Its camera system includes five cameras, led by a 200MP primary sensor. The phone supports a telephoto extender, but that accessory was not launched in India.

vivo S2 FE sale date

vivo also introduced the S2 FE in India alongside the V80 and X Fold6. However, the S2 FE will go on sale separately on October 20 rather than alongside the two newly available models.

The V80 and X Fold6 are therefore the first devices from this launch group that Indian customers can purchase through vivo’s online store, major e-commerce platforms and participating retail outlets.
