A purported leak has revealed specifications and images of the vivo S2 FE, with a 10,000 mAh battery expected to be the phone's standout feature. The handset is also said to include a 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek chipset and support for 44W wired charging.
The information comes from a post on X, but the account behind the leak does not have an established record of consistently accurate predictions. The specifications and launch details should therefore be treated as unconfirmed until vivo makes an official announcement.
vivo S2 FE specifications reportedly leaked
According to the leak, the vivo S2 FE will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a “1.5K” resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That would give the phone a large, high-refresh-rate display, broadly matching the screen positioning of the existing S2.
The handset is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor. The standard vivo S2 reportedly uses the Dimensity 7360 Turbo, meaning the FE model could take a different approach to performance while placing more emphasis on battery capacity.
Camera specifications in the leak include a 50MP primary rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also said to be included.
10,000 mAh battery could define the phone
The reported 10,000 mAh battery would be the most notable part of the S2 FE's hardware. It is considerably larger than the battery capacity typically associated with mainstream smartphones, although the leak does not provide any information about the phone's thickness, weight or expected battery life.
Charging is said to be supported at up to 44W over a wired connection. That is a relatively modest charging specification alongside such a large battery, but the available information does not indicate how long a full charge would take.
Possible India price and launch date
The vivo S2 FE could reportedly launch at a price below INR 40,000, which is approximately $416 based on the conversion provided with the leak. Pricing, storage configurations and availability remain unconfirmed.
The phone is also said to debut alongside the vivo V80 on October 6. The source does not confirm whether vivo has announced that date, so it should be considered a reported launch window rather than a confirmed event.
vivo revived its S series in India with the S2 in August, according to the report. If the S2 FE arrives as described, its unusually large battery could distinguish it from that model and make endurance the main reason to consider the newer device. More reliable details will depend on an official announcement from vivo.
