vivo has expanded its S-series in India with the new S2 FE, a smartphone centered on the company’s largest battery yet. The handset combines a 10,000mAh cell with 44W fast charging and reverse charging, allowing it to supply power to other devices.

The S2 FE will be available in India from October 20 in Stellar Green, Titan Black and Zen White. vivo has priced the 6GB/128GB model at INR 38,999, while the 8GB/128GB version costs INR 42,999.

The phone has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. An in-display fingerprint scanner is built into the handset for biometric authentication.

Power comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e chipset. The S2 FE runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6, giving it a current software foundation at launch.

10,000mAh battery with reverse charging

The battery is the defining feature of the S2 FE. Its 10,000mAh capacity is the largest offered by vivo, according to the company. The phone supports 44W fast charging and reverse charging, so it can function as a portable power source for compatible accessories and other devices.

Cameras, durability and connectivity

On the rear, the S2 FE uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies.

The handset carries an IP69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating a focus on protection against demanding conditions. Its connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS.

The combination of a very large battery and a large AMOLED screen positions the S2 FE as an option for buyers who prioritize endurance without giving up high-refresh-rate display technology. Its two storage configurations also give shoppers a choice between a lower entry price and additional RAM.
