Tecno’s Pova 8 Pro is available in two visually distinct versions: the standard model and a limited Tonino Lamborghini edition. Both phones share the same core hardware, while the special edition adds a more elaborate design, branded accessories and an unusually ambitious media kit that includes a portable coffee maker.
The collaboration is with Tonino Lamborghini, the Italian lifestyle and design brand, rather than the car manufacturer. Tecno has already released the Pova 8 Pro 5G in select markets, including India, Indonesia and parts of the Middle East. Wider European availability has not been detailed.
What changes on the Tonino Lamborghini edition?
The special edition uses a light-shifting rear panel built around a vertical red “Pulse Line.” A red hexagonal shield pattern forms a honeycomb-like texture across the back and becomes more visible when light hits the surface.
Its box includes a 45W charger, a black braided USB-A to USB-C cable with red accents and a black protective case. The case combines a hard plastic back with a softer rubber edge, which is designed to improve grip and provide some protection from drops.
The Tonino Lamborghini package also includes a branded portable coffee maker and a matching coffee thermos. The coffee maker carries several usage warnings, including instructions not to run its heating extraction function without water, avoid overly fine coffee grounds and keep its dust plug in place.
Standard Pova 8 Pro includes a different finish
The regular model shown in Tundra Green keeps the same phone and charger, but comes with a plain USB-A to USB-C cable instead of the braided version. Its case uses a matching green rubber edge and a textured transparent inner panel. The softer rubber material is intended to make the case easier to hold.
Beyond the colors, patterns and accessories, the two versions are the same smartphone. That makes the Lamborghini model primarily a design and packaging upgrade rather than a performance variant.
Tecno Pova 8 Pro specifications
Both phones use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and offer up to 12GB of RAM. They also include a 6,500mAh battery and a rear camera system made up of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos certification are built into both models. The phones also have IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection, giving the Pova 8 Pro range a stronger emphasis on durability.
Alive Matrix display adds notification effects
Another shared feature is Tecno’s Alive Matrix display, which contains 177 individually controlled mini LEDs. The lights can show different animal-inspired patterns for calls and messages, charging, gaming and other system events.
The Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition launched on September 4 and is rolling out gradually across a limited number of markets. Tecno has not provided broader European availability details, so buyers will need to check local listings for both the standard and special editions.
