Redmi has confirmed that the standard Redmi K100 will launch in China later this month, following the release of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in August. The company also plans to introduce its Clip Neo open-ear earbuds at the same event.
Redmi announced the phone’s arrival through its official Weibo account, where it shared a teaser showing the handset’s silhouette. The company has opened pre-orders in China, but it has not yet disclosed the K100’s launch date, pricing or full specifications.
What Redmi has confirmed
The teaser provides only a limited look at the upcoming phone. Its design appears to include a green finish, although Redmi has not confirmed whether that color will be available at launch or whether additional options will be offered.
More information is expected in the days before the announcement. Redmi is likely to reveal the K100’s hardware, pricing and availability details through further official posts, but those details have not been provided yet.
Redmi K100 specifications remain rumored
Unconfirmed reports point to the Redmi K100 using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which debuted in 2024. If accurate, that would make the base model different from newer devices using Qualcomm’s latest platform, though Redmi has not confirmed the processor.
The same reports claim the phone could feature a battery exceeding 10,000mAh and a 6.9-inch display with a high refresh rate. Other rumored hardware includes a metal frame and dual speakers developed with Bose. These specifications should be treated as tentative until Redmi publishes official details.
Clip Neo earbuds will launch alongside the phone
Redmi’s Clip Neo will be the second product announced at the event. The company describes the device as a pair of open-ear true wireless earbuds, a design that leaves the ear canal open while delivering audio.
Redmi has shown the earbuds in two color options: White and Black. Beyond those colors and the product category, the company has not announced information about battery life, connectivity, controls or pricing.
The K100 launch will expand Redmi’s latest K-series lineup beyond the Pro models introduced in China in August. For now, buyers in the region can place pre-orders, while the final launch date and the phone’s confirmed specifications remain to be announced.
