Oppo has added two phones to its K15 lineup in China: the K15s and K15x. Although both models are new additions by name, their hardware closely follows existing Oppo devices. The K15s shares its core specifications and design with the Oppo A7 Pro, while the K15x is largely based on the Oppo K14 with a slightly smaller battery.

Oppo K15s specifications and price

The Oppo K15s is the higher-specced model of the pair. It features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is paired with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Max chipset.

Oppo offers the K15s with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, while an 8MP camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone runs ColorOS 16 out of the box.

The K15s is available in purple and grey. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999, which is about $266.

Oppo K15x specifications and price

The K15x uses a larger 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel. Unlike the K15s, its display has HD+ resolution, but it retains the 120Hz refresh rate. Processing comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, with configurations offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Camera hardware is more modest than on the K15s. The K15x has a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It also ships with ColorOS 16.

Oppo sells the K15x in white and purple, with prices starting at CNY 1,699, or approximately $226.

How the two K15 phones compare

The K15s is positioned as the more premium option, with an AMOLED panel, higher display resolution, a more capable main camera, and the Dimensity 6360 Max chip. The K15x instead offers a larger display and a lower starting price, but uses an HD+ LCD panel and less advanced camera hardware.

The naming also makes the distinction between the models less straightforward than their specifications. The K15s is effectively a rebranded Oppo A7 Pro, while the K15x closely mirrors the Oppo K14. The K15x differs from that earlier model with a 6,500mAh battery capacity, according to the product description.

Both models are currently presented as China-market phones, with no additional availability details provided.
