Oppo’s Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit for the Find X10 Pro Max is designed to extend the phone’s native telephoto camera beyond 6x zoom. The accessory is scheduled to accompany the global launch of the Find X10 series on October 21, although Oppo has not yet confirmed when the kit will go on sale or how much it will cost.
The kit arrives in a large, heavy box containing six items: the teleconverter lens, a MagSafe-enabled case, a removable lens-mounting plate, a strap, a carrying pouch and a tripod collar. Orange accents associated with Hasselblad appear throughout the set, including inside the phone case.
What comes in the Hasselblad teleconverter kit
The included case is intended to support both everyday use and the additional lens. Its mounting plate can be removed, allowing the case to be used without the teleconverter attached. The supplied strap connects to the case with quick-release clips and can be detached when it is not needed.
A tripod collar is also included for more stable shooting. The carrying pouch provides a way to protect and transport the lens and related accessories when they are not mounted on the phone.
How much zoom does the teleconverter add?
The teleconverter has a 3.28x magnification factor. When paired with the Find X10 Pro Max’s native 3x zoom camera, it produces slightly more than 6x zoom overall.
If the global model retains the relevant specifications of the Chinese version, the resulting camera setup would offer approximately 230mm in 35mm-equivalent terms. That should make the accessory useful for distant subjects, though the phone becomes a more specialised, zoom-focused camera when the mounting plate is attached.
A zoom-only setup for the Find X10 Pro Max
The mounting plate covers the phone’s other two non-zoom cameras. As a result, using the teleconverter turns the Find X10 Pro Max into a zoom-only setup rather than an accessory that leaves the full rear camera system available.
The lens barrel has a matte-like, highly grippy finish. There is no visible knurling or other obvious surface texture, but the exterior is designed to be easy to hold while fitting or removing the accessory.
Oppo has not announced final pricing or retail availability for the Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit. More details are expected around the Find X10 series’ international launch.
