Oppo has launched the F35 and F35 Pro in India, giving both phones 8,000mAh batteries and 50MP autofocus selfie cameras. The F35 Pro adds a larger 144Hz OLED display, an ultra-wide rear camera and a more capable chipset, while the standard F35 keeps a smaller screen and the hardware used by the previous generation.

Both models are available to pre-order through Oppo’s website, Amazon and Flipkart. Oppo says sales will begin on October 11. The F35 Pro comes in Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue and Twilight Brown, while the F35 is offered in Wave Blue, Mist Pink and Titanium Grey.

Oppo F35 Pro specifications

The F35 Pro features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1,272 x 2,772 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel supports 10-bit color, covers the DCI-P3 color space and reaches 1,800 nits in high-brightness mode. AGC DT-Star D+ glass protects the screen, and a fingerprint reader sits beneath it.

Its 8,000mAh battery supports 80W wired SuperVOOC charging, along with 55W USB Power Delivery PPS and 44W UFCS support. The larger battery adds weight compared with the preceding F33 series, which had a 1,000mAh smaller capacity.

Oppo uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 MAX processor in the Pro model. It is paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also carries an IP69 rating for protection against hot water jets.

50MP selfie cameras headline the lineup

The F35 Pro has a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 lens. It is joined by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 116-degree field of view. On the front, a 50MP sensor uses a 100-degree f/2.0 autofocus lens.

Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 30 frames per second. Oppo also includes a dual-view recording mode, allowing the front and rear cameras to capture video together.

How the Oppo F35 compares

The standard F35 retains a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 1,080 x 2,372 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 10-bit color and reaches 1,400 nits in high-brightness mode. Crystal Guard glass protects the screen.

Its 8,000mAh battery supports 80W SuperVOOC, 55W USB PPS and UFCS charging. The phone uses the Dimensity 6360 MAX with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Unlike the Pro, it does not offer a 256GB configuration.

The F35’s rear camera setup combines a 50MP main sensor without optical stabilization and a 2MP depth sensor. Its 50MP front camera has a 100-degree autofocus lens with an f/2.1 aperture. Recording reaches 1080p at 60fps at launch, with Oppo promising 2.5K recording at 30fps through a future update.
