Oppo has begun bringing the A7 Pro Max to international markets after launching the phone in China in August. The device is now available for pre-order in Austria for €599, with shipping scheduled to start on October 1.

Customers can choose between Surfing Blue and Lunar Black finishes. The European launch gives buyers a phone built around an unusually large 10,000mAh battery, while still including a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen and fast wired charging.

Oppo A7 Pro Max price and availability

The A7 Pro Max is listed in Austria at €599. Pre-orders are open in the two available colors, and Oppo says deliveries will begin on October 1.

The phone was previously introduced in China in August. Austria is the first international market identified in the launch information, so broader European availability and pricing have not been specified.

10,000mAh battery and 120Hz AMOLED display

The handset features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1272 x 2772 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness reaches 1,800 nits, which should help improve visibility in bright conditions.

Its main hardware feature is the 10,000mAh battery. The phone supports 80W wired charging, along with 6.5W reverse wired charging for powering compatible accessories or other devices.

Oppo pairs the battery with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. That configuration places the A7 Pro Max among phones prioritizing endurance and storage capacity over flagship-level processing hardware.

Camera and software specifications

For photography, the A7 Pro Max has a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP monochrome camera. The front-facing camera also has a 50MP sensor and autofocus.

The phone runs Android 16 with Oppo’s ColorOS 16 software. It supports dual SIM cards and eSIM, and includes an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric unlocking.

Durability and rear notification light

Oppo lists the A7 Pro Max with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. These ratings cover multiple levels of protection, although the phone’s specific limits depend on the conditions associated with each certification.

A configurable multicolor notification LED on the rear provides another way to display alerts. Together with the large battery and high-brightness display, the feature helps distinguish the A7 Pro Max from more conventional midrange phones.
