Another leak has outlined the alleged specifications of the OnePlus Ace 7, describing a performance-focused phone with an unusually large battery, a high-refresh-rate display and an active cooling fan. The device could eventually be sold outside China as the OnePlus 16R, although OnePlus has not confirmed the phone or its launch plans.

The latest details come from tipster Gadgetsdata in a post on X. As with the earlier Ace 7 report mentioned in the leak, these specifications remain unverified and should not be treated as final product information.

OnePlus Ace 7 rumored specifications

According to the tipster, the Ace 7 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The leak also claims the phone will include a built-in active cooling fan, suggesting that sustained performance could be a central part of its design.

The reported display is a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. If accurate, that refresh rate would target particularly smooth scrolling and motion in supported applications, although the leak does not specify how widely the feature would be supported.

Photography could be another major focus. The alleged rear camera setup includes a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The telephoto camera is reportedly based on Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera is also part of the leaked specifications.

Large battery and possible 16R branding

The phone is said to pack a 9,000mAh battery and support 100W wired charging. That combination would give the Ace 7 a substantial power reserve on paper, while the listed charging rate suggests OnePlus would still position fast charging as an important feature.

The leak also mentions water resistance, but it does not provide an IP rating or describe the level of protection. That means the extent of the phone’s resistance to water and dust remains unclear.

OnePlus has previously used Ace-branded models in China and R-series names for related phones in other markets. Based on that pattern, the Ace 7 could be released in India as the OnePlus 16R, following the OnePlus 15R. The connection is currently only a possibility, not a confirmed naming decision.

What remains unconfirmed

OnePlus has not announced the Ace 7, its specifications, its markets or its release timing. The leak also provides no confirmed pricing, memory configurations or details about the cooling system. Until the company shares official information, the Snapdragon processor, camera hardware, battery capacity and possible 16R branding should all be considered provisional.
