A suspected OnePlus 16 prototype has appeared in the AnTuTu database with a total score of 5,384,433 points. The device, identified by model number PYB110, reportedly uses Qualcomm’s newly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and was tested with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The result comes from AnTuTu v12 and represents an early benchmark run rather than a final retail performance rating. Prototype hardware, software tuning and test conditions can all affect benchmark results, so the score should be treated as an initial indication rather than a guaranteed measure of the finished phone.

OnePlus 16 benchmark breakdown

The benchmark listing provides a breakdown across four testing categories. The phone recorded 1,458,283 points for CPU performance and 2,010,584 points for graphics performance.

  • CPU: 1,458,283 points
  • GPU: 2,010,584 points
  • Memory: 766,362 points
  • User experience: 1,149,204 points

The graphics score was the largest individual contributor, while the memory result reflects the prototype’s high-capacity configuration. Although the numbers may change before launch, the overall result points to a phone designed to compete at the top end of the Android performance market.

Display refresh rate may vary by use

The tested device reportedly used a 185Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has already confirmed a system-wide refresh rate of 165Hz for the phone, suggesting that the higher figure may be limited to certain games or specific operating modes rather than being available across the entire interface.

A high refresh rate can make supported games and scrolling appear smoother, but it can also increase power consumption. The distinction between the system-wide setting and the reported gaming figure will therefore matter to buyers interested in sustained gaming performance and battery life.

Expected software and hardware features

OnePlus has said the phone will launch soon with ColorOS 17, based on Android 17. A recent certification reportedly listed support for 100W wired charging, adding to the device’s expected flagship specifications.

Other features remain unconfirmed. Rumors have pointed to a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 9,000mAh battery, but neither detail has been officially established in the available information. The same applies to the benchmark configuration, which may not represent the exact memory and storage options offered in stores.

For now, the AnTuTu appearance provides an early look at the OnePlus 16’s performance potential. More meaningful conclusions will require testing of final retail hardware, including sustained performance, battery endurance and camera quality.
