Motorola’s upcoming wide foldable has reportedly been identified as the Razr Flex, with a leaked specification sheet outlining its displays, cameras, processor and battery. The name may not be final, however, and Motorola has not publicly confirmed the full specification list.

The device is expected to arrive in the next few months after Motorola began teasing a wide foldable following earlier leaked sketches. According to Android Headlines, “Parker” is the phone’s internal codename, while Razr Flex is apparently the name being used inside the company.

Two OLED displays and a 165Hz inner screen

The alleged Razr Flex will use a 6.92-inch folding OLED display with a resolution of 2364 by 1728 pixels. The inner panel is also said to support a 165Hz refresh rate, which could make scrolling and supported games appear smoother.

A 4.97-inch OLED cover display is reportedly positioned on the outside. It is listed with a 1140 by 1736 resolution, giving the outer screen a tall aspect ratio for use while the phone is folded.

The leaked dimensions measure 110 by 149 by 5.8 millimeters when unfolded and 110 by 76 by 12.6 millimeters when closed. The phone is allegedly 215 grams, although those measurements and weight remain unconfirmed.

Snapdragon chip paired with 12GB of RAM

Motorola is reportedly preparing the foldable with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The specification leak lists 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with no other storage or memory configurations mentioned.

If accurate, the limited storage choice would make the Razr Flex unusual among premium foldables, which often offer multiple configurations. The report does not indicate whether the phone will support expandable storage.

50MP dual cameras and a 5,000mAh battery

The rear camera system is said to include a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Motorola reportedly plans two 32MP selfie cameras, with one placed for each display so users can take selfies regardless of how the foldable is being used.

Power would come from a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is also listed with support for 25W wireless charging. A fingerprint reader is reportedly built into the side-mounted power button.

Expected launch timing and protection ratings

The leak claims the Razr Flex will carry IP48 and IP49 certifications for dust and water resistance. It is also expected to ship with Android 17 installed.

Motorola is reportedly targeting a mid-December launch, with Pantone Coriander and Pantone Dark Botanical Garden listed as the expected color options. Motorola has confirmed that the wide foldable exists through its teasers, but the name, specifications and launch timing still require official confirmation.
