Mivi has entered India’s smartphone market with the Mivi One 5G, a budget handset built around a large 6.75-inch display and a 6,000mAh battery. The phone will go on sale through Flipkart on October 8, starting at INR 14,999.

The launch expands Mivi’s product range beyond the audio devices for which the Indian electronics brand is known. The Mivi One 5G runs stock Android 16 and is offered in four colors: Blue, Burgundy Green, Navy Blue and Pink.

Mivi One 5G price and availability

The entry-level model costs INR 14,999 and includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Mivi will also sell a 6GB/128GB version for INR 15,999, while the highest-end 8GB/128GB configuration is priced at INR 16,999.

All three versions include a microSD card slot, giving buyers the option to expand storage beyond the built-in 128GB. The phone will be available in India through Flipkart from October 8.

Display and performance

The Mivi One 5G uses a 6.75-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate is designed to make supported scrolling and animations appear smoother than on a conventional 60Hz screen.

Power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone supports 5G, while its other wireless connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band Wi-Fi.

Camera and battery features

A 50MP primary camera sits on the back alongside an LED flash and an auxiliary lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8MP front-facing camera.

The 6,000mAh battery is one of the handset’s main hardware features, although the launch information does not specify charging speeds or charging times. A USB Type-C port is used for wired connectivity and charging.

Other Mivi One 5G specifications

The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric unlocking and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also carries an IP64 rating, indicating that the handset has a stated level of protection against dust and water splashes.

With stock Android 16, expandable storage and three memory configurations, the Mivi One 5G gives buyers several options within its price range. Its final appeal will depend on factors such as camera performance, battery endurance and software support, which were not detailed in the launch information.
