Apple has opened pre-orders for its latest flagship phones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, through its online store and the Apple Store app. Customers who order today can expect deliveries to begin on Friday, September 18.

Where to pre-order and how demand is shaping up

Pre-orders are live in more than 65 countries and regions. Buyers who used Apple's "Get Ready" feature ahead of time can complete an order in a couple of taps, and Apple suggests the app is often the fastest route if the website is slow to load.

Beyond Apple's own channels, carriers including Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile are taking orders, as are retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart. Carriers are pairing the launch with trade-in offers and discounts, while Apple's Upgrade program provides monthly payment options.

Apple is not yet selling the lower-cost iPhone 18, and the iPhone Duo is not expected until October 23. With the Pro models the only new iPhones available at launch, Apple warns that popular colors and storage capacities can sell out quickly, making early orders worthwhile.

What's new in the iPhone 18 Pro lineup

The iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max introduce a variable aperture Main camera and are powered by the new A20 Pro chip. Other upgrades include improved vapor chamber cooling, updated 5G modems, longer battery life, faster charging, and a smaller Dynamic Island.

The phones are offered in four finishes: silver, black, glacier, and burgundy. Storage tops out at 2TB for buyers who need the most capacity.

Pricing and availability

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for the 256GB configuration, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at $1,299. Larger storage tiers, up to 2TB, are available at higher prices.

Because the Pro models are launching without the standard iPhone 18 or iPhone Duo alongside them, Apple expects strong early demand. Shoppers who want a specific color or capacity for the September 18 launch day are advised to place orders as soon as possible.
