Infinix has confirmed that its GT 50 Pro gaming smartphone will launch in India on October 27. The company announced the date after a short teaser campaign, although it has not yet revealed how much the phone will cost in the country.
The GT 50 Pro was introduced in April, but its Indian release has been delayed. Infinix is expected to announce local pricing on the launch date, leaving availability and configuration details still to be confirmed for Indian buyers.
Infinix GT 50 Pro specifications
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1208x2644 resolution. Its 144Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother motion, while the panel can reach a claimed peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Power comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB capacities using UFS 4.1 storage. The handset also includes a 6,500mAh battery, with support for 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
Reverse charging is supported as well, with 10W reverse wired charging and 5W reverse wireless charging listed among the phone’s features.
Gaming-focused hardware and design
Infinix is positioning the GT 50 Pro as a gaming-oriented device. Its rear panel includes advanced RGB lighting, while a visible liquid-cooling system is intended to help manage heat during demanding use. The phone also has upgraded shoulder triggers for gaming controls.
The camera system consists of a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 13MP front-facing camera. The device carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
India launch date and expected pricing
Infinix India confirmed the October 27 launch through its official announcement. The company has not provided an Indian price in the available announcement, so buyers will need to wait until the event for that detail.
The GT 50 Pro’s combination of a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, MediaTek processor, large battery and gaming controls will put its eventual Indian price at the centre of interest. Infinix’s launch announcement should also clarify which storage variants will be sold locally.
