Huawei has launched the Watch D3 in Europe, offering a smartwatch with an inflatable cuff built into its strap for blood pressure measurements. The company is also bundling free accessories and health-service benefits with purchases in selected markets.

Unlike many smartwatches that estimate blood pressure using optical sensors, the Watch D3 uses an integrated airbag cuff. Huawei says the device is CE MDR-certified for blood pressure monitoring, allowing users to take measurements away from dedicated medical equipment.

Huawei Watch D3 blood pressure features

The Watch D3 is designed for continuous health tracking throughout the day. Its newer measurement mode can record readings before and after exercise, giving users a way to compare blood pressure around physical activity.

The watch also includes Huawei’s Health Community feature. This allows users to monitor health data from family members and receive alerts when a connected watch detects an abnormality. The feature is intended for keeping track of relatives remotely, although the watch’s health measurements should not be treated as a substitute for professional medical advice.

UK pricing and launch offers

In the UK, the Huawei Watch D3 is available through Huawei’s online store, Amazon, Currys and Argos. Its recommended price is £400, while Amazon is listing a £30 reduction.

Huawei’s UK store is offering a free Huawei Scale 3 smart bathroom scale with the watch, along with six times the usual Rewards Points. That points promotion runs until November 3. Buyers also receive 10 months of Bupa Well+ services, listed with a value of £200. The package includes digital GP appointments, physiotherapy, mental health support and other well-being resources.

Availability and promotion terms can vary by retailer. Huawei’s UK purchase page lists the company’s current offer and buying options.

German pricing and free accessories

In Germany, Huawei lists the Watch D3 at €450, while Amazon is offering it for €430 with the code HUAWEIDE20. Amazon is also discounting FreeBuds Neo earbuds when purchased with the watch, reducing their price to €89 from €108. Huawei gives German buyers a choice between a free Scale 3 or FreeBuds SE 4 ANC through its online store.

The offers make the D3 more than a routine smartwatch upgrade, particularly for buyers interested in blood pressure tracking or connected family health monitoring. However, the value of each bundle depends on the retailer, country and promotion selected at checkout.

How the Watch D3 compares with the Watch D2

Huawei has made the D3 slimmer than the Watch D2. The new model measures 11.3mm thick, compared with 13.3mm for its predecessor, and has a larger 1.92-inch display instead of the D2’s 1.82-inch panel.

It also brings updated connectivity and sensors. The combination of a thinner case, expanded display and cuff-based blood pressure measurements is the main distinction between the D3 and Huawei’s earlier model.
