Honor will launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia on September 24, according to the company’s official Malaysian website. Ahead of the unveiling, Honor has been teasing the phone’s durability and design, while additional specifications have surfaced through a Malaysian news outlet.

The upcoming handset is confirmed to use a large 11,000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging. Honor has also confirmed a dual-camera system on the rear, led by a 108MP primary sensor.

Honor X9e Pro launch date and colors

The Honor X9e Pro will be unveiled in Malaysia on September 24. The company has listed four color options for the phone: Dawn Gold, Midnight Black, Reddish Brown and Royal Purple.

Honor Malaysia has been promoting the handset ahead of its launch, giving particular attention to its durability. One teaser highlights the phone’s ability to be submerged in hot water. The available information does not provide further details about the conditions or limits of that claim.

11,000mAh battery and 80W charging

The X9e Pro’s battery is the most notable specification revealed ahead of the event. With an 11,000mAh capacity, it is positioned as a major feature of the device. The phone will also support 80W wired fast charging, although Honor has not yet provided charging-time figures in the available announcement.

Battery capacity and charging support can be important factors for buyers who want longer use between charges, but the phone’s real-world endurance will depend on its display, processor and software. Those details have not been disclosed in the information currently available.

108MP dual-camera setup and bright display

Honor’s teasers confirm that the phone will have two rear cameras, with a 108MP sensor serving as the primary camera. The company has not yet detailed the second rear camera or provided additional information about the camera features.

The X9e Pro is also said to offer a display with peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. This specification comes from a Malaysian report rather than the launch details published by Honor. The available information does not identify the display technology, size or resolution.

Honor is expected to provide the remaining specifications, pricing and availability details when the X9e Pro launches in Malaysia on September 24.
