Honor has introduced two new Android tablets: the MagicPad 4 (12.1), a smaller and less expensive sibling to the MagicPad4, and the budget-focused Tablet X10 Pro Max. Both models pair large displays with 10,100mAh batteries and ship with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Honor MagicPad 4 (12.1) specifications

The MagicPad 4 (12.1) uses a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a 1,872 x 3,000-pixel resolution. Its 165Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and motion, while the panel reaches up to 700 nits of brightness.

Power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Honor offers the tablet with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and both configurations include 256GB of storage. The tablet is Wi-Fi only.

A 10,100mAh battery supplies power, with support for 66W charging. The camera setup consists of an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The tablet runs MagicOS 10, Honor’s software interface based on Android 16.

MagicPad 4 (12.1) price and availability

The new model is separate from the MagicPad4 released in June. That tablet has a 12.3-inch OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and the same 10,100mAh battery capacity.

In China, the MagicPad 4 (12.1) starts at CNY 4,199, or about $625, for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The 12GB and 256GB configuration costs CNY 4,699, approximately $700.

Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max features

The Tablet X10 Pro Max is built around a larger 13-inch IPS LCD. It has a 2,500 x 1,560-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 700 nits.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset powers the device, which comes with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB. Unlike the Wi-Fi-only MagicPad 4 (12.1), the processor name indicates 4G connectivity, although the available information does not specify the tablet’s network configuration.

The X10 Pro Max also includes a 10,100mAh battery, but charging is limited to 45W. It has 5-megapixel cameras on both the front and rear, and runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max price

Honor is offering the X10 Pro Max in Forest Green and Cangshan Gray. Its starting price is CNY 2,599, or about $387. The lower price and larger display position it as the more accessible option between the two new tablets, while the MagicPad 4 (12.1) offers a faster display and more powerful chipset.
