Honor appears to be preparing another addition to its Magic9 lineup. The Honor Magic9 Lite+ has reportedly appeared in the Google Play Console, revealing a Snapdragon processor, 8GB of RAM and a high-resolution display ahead of its expected global availability.
The listing identifies the device by model number BSN-NX1. It also names Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 as the phone’s processor and lists a screen resolution of 1280 by 2788 pixels. The console entry does not provide further confirmed hardware details or a launch date.
Honor Magic9 Lite+ model and expected availability
The Magic9 Lite+ would join the Magic9, Magic9 Super and Magic9 Pro Max, which Honor unveiled in China last month. Unlike those existing models, the Lite+ is expected to be sold globally, according to the information surrounding the listing.
Its naming is notably unusual, as the “Lite+” branding suggests a position between a conventional Lite model and a higher-end variant. Honor has not yet officially announced the phone or confirmed how it will be positioned within the Magic9 range.
Possible connection to the Honor X9e Pro 5G
The model number shown for the Magic9 Lite+ matches the one used by the Honor X9e Pro 5G, which recently launched in some Asian markets. That overlap suggests the two phones could be the same device sold under different names in different regions, although Honor has not confirmed the connection.
If the identification is accurate, the Magic9 Lite+ could inherit much of the X9e Pro 5G’s reported specification sheet. Those expected features include a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness.
Expected camera, storage and battery specifications
The possible X9e Pro 5G connection also points to 256GB or 512GB of storage. Camera hardware could include a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 16MP front-facing camera.
The phone may also feature an 11,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. These specifications remain unconfirmed for the Magic9 Lite+ because the Google Play Console listing only reveals the model number, processor, memory and display resolution.
For now, the listing provides an early indication that Honor is developing the device, while the shared model number offers the strongest clue about its likely hardware. More details, including pricing and an official release date, will need to come from Honor.
