Honor has confirmed major specifications for two phones in its upcoming Win2 series, including batteries with capacities of 10,100mAh and 12,070mAh. The Win2 and Win RT2 are scheduled to launch in China next week, while the company has yet to disclose the full specification list for the Win Turbo 2.
The announcements follow Honor’s recent reveal of the designs and color options for all three models. Honor shared the specification details through its official Weibo account, giving the Win2 series a particularly strong focus on battery capacity and display performance.
Honor Win2 specifications
The standard Honor Win2 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, according to the company. It will also include a 10,100mAh battery, making battery capacity one of the phone’s defining features.
Honor says the Win2 will have a display with 2K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate and 5,920Hz PWM dimming. The high refresh rate is designed to support smoother motion, while the PWM dimming specification relates to how the display controls brightness.
The phone will also introduce a dual-turbo cooling system. Honor claims that the system can lower temperatures by as much as 10 degrees Celsius in 50 seconds. The company has not yet provided further details about the cooling hardware or the conditions used for that claim.
Win RT2 gets an even larger battery
The Honor Win RT2 will go further on battery capacity, with a 12,070mAh cell confirmed by Honor. Its display will match the Win2 in several key areas, offering 2K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate.
The Win RT2 is rumored to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which was introduced as last year’s flagship platform in the available information. Honor has not confirmed that processor as part of its latest specification announcement.
More details expected before launch
The Win2 lineup consists of the Win2, Win RT2 and Win Turbo 2. Honor has confirmed details for the first two models but has not yet revealed comparable specifications for the Win Turbo 2.
With the Chinese launch planned for next week, additional information is expected to arrive soon. Until then, the confirmed specifications point to a series built around exceptionally large batteries, fast-refresh displays and performance-focused cooling, while important details such as pricing and broader availability remain undisclosed.
