Samsung’s rumored Galaxy S27 Ultra could look almost identical in size to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while making small changes to the areas surrounding its display and rear cameras. Tipster Ice Universe claims the upcoming flagship will have thicker display bezels and a slightly deeper camera bump than the current model.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will use 1.28mm display bezels, compared with 1.15mm on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. That would represent a small increase, although the difference could be visible around the phone’s screen, particularly when viewed alongside the previous generation.

Galaxy S27 Ultra dimensions and weight

The reported bezel change comes despite the Galaxy S27 Ultra being tipped to maintain dimensions close to those of its predecessor. Current leaks put the phone at 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, with a weight of 218 grams.

Those figures describe the phone as a large, relatively slim Ultra model. However, they remain unconfirmed, and the final dimensions could change before Samsung officially introduces the device. Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S27 Ultra or confirmed any of the specifications in the leak.

Camera bump could become slightly thicker

Ice Universe also claims the rear camera bump will measure 4.69mm on the new model, up from a reported 4.5mm on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The increase is similarly modest, but it could affect how evenly the phone rests on a table without a case.

A redesigned rear camera module may explain the additional thickness. The leaked design is said to use three rear cameras rather than a larger multi-camera arrangement, with a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom.

What the leak means for Samsung’s next Ultra

The reported changes suggest Samsung may be refining the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s exterior rather than making a major shift in overall size. Slightly thicker bezels could give the company more room for internal components or display-related changes, but the leak does not explain why the frame would become thicker around the screen.

The camera specifications also remain unverified. A redesigned module could change the phone’s appearance while preserving the Ultra line’s focus on high-resolution photography and long-range zoom. Until Samsung provides official details, the bezel measurements, camera layout, dimensions and weight should be treated as early leak information.

For Galaxy S26 Ultra owners, the reported figures point to a successor with broadly familiar proportions rather than a dramatically different form factor. The most noticeable exterior change could instead be the redesigned camera area, assuming the leaked information proves accurate.
