Apple's yearly iPhone showcase has come and gone, but the company still has a crowded launch calendar for the rest of the year, according to a wave of rumors. As many as eight additional products are said to be in the pipeline, likely prompting a separate October event to give them all the spotlight they need.

One notable exception is a heavily redesigned MacBook Pro with an OLED display, which reportedly may not arrive until early 2027. Everything else, however, is expected to land within the coming months.

New iPads and Macs on the way

An updated iPad mini is rumored to gain a significant upgrade, including an A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, an OLED display, a redesigned speaker system without visible holes, and a water-resistant build. Apple introduced the A20 Pro chip earlier this week in its latest Pro iPhones.

On the Mac side, a refreshed iMac is expected to adopt the M6 chip Apple announced last month, along with fresh color options. A new base-model 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip is also anticipated.

The most dramatic change is reserved for later. A major MacBook Pro overhaul, tentatively dubbed the MacBook Ultra, is rumored for late 2026 or early 2027. It could feature M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, an OLED touchscreen, a Dynamic Island, and a thinner chassis. macOS 27 is expected to include a touch-friendly interface for the machine. Less certain reports even suggest an option to configure it with the M5 Ultra chip that debuted last month.

A refreshed home lineup

Apple's smart home category is due for several updates. A new Apple TV is rumored to include an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence, Siri AI features, Apple's N1 wireless chip with Wi-Fi 7, and an updated Siri Remote. Its exterior is expected to look much like the current model.

The HomePod mini could see a newer chip with Siri AI, better sound quality, the N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, and possibly new colors such as red. As with the Apple TV, a major redesign is not expected.

Apple is also rumored to be preparing an all-new Home Hub, a smart home device with Siri AI, a 6- to 7-inch square display, and an A18 chip or newer for Apple Intelligence. It would support FaceTime and run a dedicated operating system with clock faces and widgets. Both a tabletop version with a speaker base and a wall-mounted variant are said to be planned.

Beats 360 headphones expected first

Rounding out the list are new over-ear Beats 360 headphones. They are described as having an AirPods Max-style design, interchangeable ear cushions and headbands, up to 1.75 times more noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro, and IPX4 water resistance. These may be the first of the group to arrive, potentially before the end of September.

Why it matters

If accurate, the rumored roadmap points to one of Apple's busiest fall stretches in recent memory, spanning tablets, Macs, home devices, and audio. The sheer volume suggests a dedicated October event is likely, giving Apple another chance to close out the year with new hardware after its iPhone launch.
