Apple’s new HomeView smart home hub is beginning to face delivery delays just days after pre-orders opened. In parts of the United States, estimated arrival dates for some tabletop models now extend into early December, although certain colors and locations still show launch-day availability.
Apple began accepting pre-orders on Tuesday, with the first deliveries scheduled for Friday, November 13. Customers ordering now may need to wait longer, depending on their ZIP code, selected color, and HomeView configuration.
HomeView delivery dates vary by location
Apple’s online store is showing different estimates across the US. For example, the silver tabletop HomeView is listed with a November 23 to December 1 delivery window in New York. In some other locations, the same model has an estimated delivery range of November 30 to December 7.
Those dates do not apply uniformly nationwide. Some tabletop HomeView colors and locations still offer delivery on Friday, November 13, which is the product’s launch day. Customers hoping to receive one at launch may therefore want to check availability using their specific ZIP code before placing an order.
Wall-mounted HomeView remains available
The wall-mounted version is not showing the same delays as the tabletop model at the time of publication. Apple’s delivery estimates for that configuration remain unaffected, according to the current availability information.
The delivery situation also appears relevant to Apple’s other new home products. Apple TV 4K estimates are broadly similar in some areas, with delivery windows of November 23 to December 1 or November 30 to December 7, depending on location.
HomePod mini 2 remains available for launch day
Customers interested in the HomePod mini 2 face a different situation. The speaker remains broadly available for Friday, October 30 delivery across the US, including all five color options.
Apple has also said that Siri AI will not be available on the HomePod mini 2 at launch. Support is planned for a future software update, meaning buyers should not expect that capability on the initial release date.
For HomeView shoppers, the main takeaway is that availability is changing by model and region rather than disappearing entirely. The tabletop hub has the most noticeable delays, while some configurations can still arrive on launch day.
