Tecno has confirmed that the Spark 50s 5G will launch in India on October 16 at 12 noon. The phone is the newest addition to the company’s Spark 50 lineup, joining the Spark 50 4G, Spark 50 and Spark 50 Pro.

Tecno Mobile India announced the launch date on October 14 as part of its teaser campaign. The company has also provided an early look at the phone’s rear design and confirmed two color options, while keeping the main hardware details under wraps.

Tecno Spark 50s 5G launch date and availability

The Spark 50s 5G will be introduced in India on October 16 at noon. Tecno’s announcement confirms the launch timing, but does not yet provide information about pricing, sales channels or when the phone will become available to buy.

The device expands a Spark 50 family that already includes both 4G and 5G models, along with the Spark 50 Pro. Its position within the range suggests that Tecno is continuing to build out the series with another option for Indian buyers, although the company has not described how the new model differs from the existing phones.

Spark 50s 5G design and colors

Images shared by Tecno show a rear panel that closely resembles the Spark 50. A camera visor sits across the upper section of the back, and the teaser indicates that the phone uses a single rear camera sensor, similar to the Spark 50.

Tecno has shown the Spark 50s 5G in blue and red finishes. The visible design details are currently limited to the back of the phone, so features such as the display, front camera and side frame have not been confirmed.

Specifications remain unconfirmed

Tecno has not released specifications for the Spark 50s 5G yet. Details about the chipset, display, battery, charging system, cameras and storage remain unavailable.

The company’s teaser activity could reveal more information before the launch, but the October 16 event is currently the main confirmed milestone. Until Tecno publishes a full product announcement, the phone’s specifications and price should be treated as unknown.

The launch will clarify how the Spark 50s 5G fits into Tecno’s existing lineup and whether its design similarities to the Spark 50 extend to its internal hardware.
