Prices have shifted again across Samsung’s latest Galaxy phones, with Walmart now beating Amazon on several foldable and Galaxy S26 models. Some Prime sale discounts have disappeared, but shoppers can still find meaningful savings, particularly on the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Galaxy Z Fold8 prices rise after the Prime sale

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $1,700 on Amazon, up from $1,650 last week. Walmart currently lists the same configuration for $1,640, making it the better option.

Storage availability remains uneven. Walmart appears to have limited or no stock of some 512GB models, while Amazon lists the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold8 at $1,900. That is also higher than last week’s $1,850 price.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra has seen an even larger increase on Amazon. Its 12GB/256GB model was available for $1,700 during the Prime promotion and the following weekend, but now costs $1,900. Walmart’s $1,750 price is not as low as the earlier promotion, but it remains $150 cheaper than Amazon.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 has also moved back above a key price threshold. The 12GB/256GB base model is $1,050 at both Amazon and Walmart, compared with less than $1,000 last week.

Walmart offers the better Galaxy S26 Ultra deal

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is one of the clearest examples of Walmart’s advantage. Its base 12GB/256GB model costs $950 at Walmart, matching the promotional price Amazon offered last week. Amazon now charges $1,150 for the same configuration.

Walmart also has the 12GB/512GB version in stock for $1,050. Amazon’s price for that model has climbed to $1,360, compared with $1,090 last week. Buyers who want additional storage therefore have an especially strong reason to compare retailers before ordering.

Galaxy S26 and S26+ discounts vary by storage

The Galaxy S26+ has smaller but still useful price differences. Walmart lists the 12GB/256GB version at $835, while the 12GB/512GB model costs $945. The larger-storage version is $35 cheaper than Amazon’s price last week, while Amazon currently has no discount on the base model.

For shoppers seeking a smaller phone, Amazon’s Galaxy S26 pricing has worsened considerably. The phone now starts at $900, compared with $725 last week. Walmart can nearly match the previous price on the base model, and its 512GB version is $10 cheaper than it was during the Prime promotion.

Galaxy S26 FE versus last year’s model

The Galaxy S26 FE is now $600 at both Amazon and Walmart for the 8GB/128GB configuration. That is $25 more than last week’s discounted price, though still below its $700 suggested price.

Walmart’s Galaxy S25 FE may be more appealing for buyers focused on value. The older model costs $565 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The equivalent 256GB Galaxy S26 FE costs $700, creating a $135 difference. The newer phone may offer the latest generation, but the S25 FE provides more storage for less money.

Prices and inventory can change quickly, especially after a major retail promotion. Comparing both retailers is worthwhile because the best price now depends heavily on the Galaxy model and storage capacity.
