Realme and OnePlus have revealed their rollout schedules for ColorOS 17, following Oppo’s announcement of the operating system’s global release. The first updates for both brands are scheduled to arrive on October 29, with additional premium devices joining the rollout on October 30.

ColorOS 17 will initially focus on newer high-end phones and tablets. Updates will then expand to older launches during November and December, while some mid-range models are not expected to receive the software until the first quarter of 2027.

ColorOS 17 devices scheduled for October 29

The first wave includes three devices across the two brands. Realme will begin with the GT 8 Pro and its Dream Edition variant. OnePlus will start with the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Pad 4.

  • Realme GT 8 Pro
  • Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition
  • OnePlus 15
  • OnePlus Pad 4

These are the earliest devices listed for the ColorOS 17 rollout from Realme and OnePlus. The schedule indicates when the update process begins, rather than suggesting that every owner will receive it simultaneously.

More Realme and OnePlus phones follow on October 30

A second group is scheduled for the following day. Realme will extend the rollout to the GT 7 Pro, along with the first listed members of the Realme 16 lineup: the Realme 16 Pro+ and Realme 16 Pro.

OnePlus will update several recent premium models on October 30, including the OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s.

  • Realme GT 7 Pro
  • Realme 16 Pro+
  • Realme 16 Pro
  • OnePlus 15R
  • OnePlus 13
  • OnePlus 13s

Older and mid-range devices wait longer

According to the rollout information, both brands will continue adding devices through November and December. Premium products receive priority, so the schedule extends further into 2027 for some less expensive phones.

Some mid-range Realme and OnePlus devices are listed for the first quarter of 2027. That means owners of eligible older models may need to wait several months after the first ColorOS 17 updates begin.

What the schedule means for owners

The announcement gives owners a broad timeline for when to expect ColorOS 17 on supported Realme and OnePlus hardware. Devices in the initial October waves include recent flagship phones and a tablet, while later phases cover more of each company’s product range.

Realme shared rollout information through its official India account, while the wider ColorOS 17 launch was announced by Oppo. Availability may therefore depend on the rollout phase assigned to a particular device and market. Owners should check their phone or tablet’s software update page when their model’s scheduled window arrives.
