Apple has released the fourth developer betas of watchOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2. The new builds arrive one week after the third betas and alongside fourth betas for iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2.

Registered developers can install the watchOS and visionOS updates through the Settings app on the relevant devices. Apple has not yet released a fourth tvOS 27.2 beta.

watchOS 27.2 continues Health app testing

The main feature currently being tested in watchOS 27.2 is Apple’s redesigned Health app. Apple introduced the updated app during its September iPhone event, and the changes are also being tested in iOS 27.2.

The redesigned Health app adds Insights and Longevity tabs. It also includes a readiness score that uses information from the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.

These features connect Apple’s latest watch hardware with its broader health software, although the available information does not describe any additional changes included in the fourth beta.

What is new in visionOS 27.2?

Apple has not specified what the fourth visionOS 27.2 beta adds. The company has also not outlined the changes included in the latest tvOS 27.2 build, which remains unavailable as a fourth beta.

As with other pre-release operating system updates, the builds are intended for registered developers rather than general users. Developers can access them from the Settings app on compatible devices enrolled in Apple’s beta program.

Apple expands testing across its platforms

The simultaneous release gives developers a new round of test software across Apple’s major device platforms. The iPhone and Apple Watch updates are currently the clearest focus because they include the redesigned Health app and its new readiness scoring feature.

Apple also released a fourth-generation Apple TV today with support for Siri AI features, although the available information does not connect those features to a specific change in the tvOS 27.2 beta.

Apple is expected to continue refining the software before the final releases. The company has not provided release dates for watchOS 27.2 or visionOS 27.2.
