Amazon has cut $250 from the Google Pixel 11 Pro in the US, reducing the phone from its $1,100 launch price to $850 during the retailer’s Prime promotion. The 23% discount makes Google’s 6.3-inch flagship considerably more competitive against similarly sized phones such as the Galaxy S26 and iPhone 18 Pro.
The Pixel 11 Pro is not without weaknesses, but the lower price improves its value. Google addressed the poor battery life reported on the 2025 model and made charging somewhat faster, although the phone still does not match the charging speeds available from several Chinese manufacturers that are not sold in the US.
What the Pixel 11 Pro offers
One of the phone’s more distinctive features is its magnetic accessory system. Google calls the technology Pixelsnap, and it uses the same magnet arrangement as Apple’s MagSafe accessories. That makes the Pixel 11 series one of the few mainstream Android phone lines with built-in magnetic attachment support.
The Pixel 11 Pro also includes satellite SOS, providing an emergency communication option similar to Apple’s service. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 models instead use a Direct to Cell approach rather than dedicated satellite bands.
Google promises seven years of software updates for the Pixel 11 Pro, along with regular Pixel Drops that add new features. Those long-term updates and Pixel-exclusive software features remain central reasons to consider the phone.
Pixel 11 Pro limitations
The generation’s headline feature, HiLight, is currently limited and is described as more of a novelty than a compelling reason to upgrade. The Tensor G6 chip is also a mixed upgrade. It is the first Tensor processor built by TSMC rather than Samsung, but its graphics performance is weak enough that the phone is not recommended for gaming-focused buyers.
That trade-off is important at the discounted price. The Pixel 11 Pro can appeal to shoppers who value Google’s software, camera-focused experience and long update commitment, but gamers may find better performance elsewhere.
Other Pixel 11 deals
The larger 6.8-inch Pixel 11 Pro XL is available from $1,000 for the 256GB model after a 23% discount. Google has reduced the entry-level memory configuration for the Pro range to 12GB of RAM, compared with 16GB on last year’s 128GB Pro models. Buyers who want 16GB must move to higher storage tiers, including the 512GB version.
The standard Pixel 11 starts at $750 after a 17% discount. For shoppers focused on a 6.3-inch phone, the more relevant comparison is therefore between the Pixel 11 Pro and the regular Pixel 11 rather than the larger Pro XL.
