Samsung has raised the US prices of its Galaxy S26 series by $100 compared with launch prices seven months ago. However, shoppers can still avoid the increase: Walmart is selling the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra at prices below their original launch levels, with savings on the Ultra reaching as much as $500.

The discounts make the current retailer pricing significantly more attractive than Samsung’s revised prices. They also help offset the fact that many Galaxy S26 configurations already cost more than their equivalent Galaxy S25 models did when last year’s phones launched.

Walmart has the largest Galaxy S26 discounts

Samsung now lists the base Galaxy S26 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage at $1,400. Walmart, however, is selling the same series at a price below $1,000, according to the deal information available. That represents a potential saving of up to $500 against the revised price.

The standard Galaxy S26 has also crossed into four-figure pricing at Samsung, with a new starting price of $1,000. Walmart is charging $730 for the phone, making the smaller model considerably easier to justify. The upgrade to 512GB of storage is described as relatively expensive, so buyers focused on value may want to compare the storage options carefully.

The Galaxy S26+ is another option worth considering. The Galaxy S26 FE remains priced at $700 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or $800 with 256GB. For $40 more than the 256GB FE, shoppers can get a Galaxy S26+ with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The larger model also brings advantages in its display and chipset, according to the comparison outlined in the deal information.

Amazon pricing may change soon

Amazon is currently offering pricing that appears to have returned to the Galaxy S26 series’ original launch levels from March. Its 256GB Galaxy S26 has a discount, although the phone is cheaper at Walmart based on the prices cited.

Amazon is preparing for Prime Big Deal Days, which begins Tuesday. The retailer’s strongest offers may not appear until the event starts. Prime membership is required for the event’s deal prices, although a trial subscription is also eligible.

Samsung offers limited savings without trade-ins

Samsung is offering a $150 discount on the Galaxy S26 Ultra without requiring customers to trade in another phone. Buyers who do trade in an old device can receive up to $720 in credit.

Samsung does not currently offer equivalent no-trade-in discounts for the standard Galaxy S26 or Galaxy S26+. That makes Walmart the more straightforward option for shoppers who want a lower price without sending in an older device.

Prices and availability can change, particularly as Amazon’s sales event approaches. Anyone considering a Galaxy S26 model should compare the final checkout price, storage capacity and any trade-in requirements before buying.
